RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Thank you for shopping at By John Designs. We strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. However, if you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we are here to help. Please review our refund policy below:

You have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. Shipping returns are done at the customers own cost, except in cases where the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Any items that are damaged, used, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Proof of purchase, such as an order number or receipt, is required for all returns.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@byjohndesigns.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how to return your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment, unless otherwise agreed upon.

When returning an item, please ensure it is securely packaged to avoid damage during transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and find a solution if reasonably possible for us.

We may request photographic evidence of the damage or defect to facilitate the resolution process.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, repair, or refund for the damaged or defective item at our discretion.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

No returns, refunds or exchanges will be accepted on sale items. 

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for a new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and will let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be refunded or given store credit if you prefer.
